work brings freedom
A Concentration Camp near Berlin. It has a memorial built in 1961 (I'm pretty sure). It was an
all male work camp. They also sent Soviet soldiers there to be killed.

Interesting fact:
The German soldiers stationed by the camp were only served potatoes that had been shaped into a perfect spheer. They had a special name in German along the lines of "perfect for the mouth". This meant that one potato = one mouthful and the rest else was thrown away.
A few feet away thousands were starving.
Amazing.

I opened your blog to try to get away from a documentary on the Darfor genocide in Sudan that Forrest and Dad are watching. It seems that as a world we still have not learned how to treat each other. The documentary footage is disturbing.
