On Saturday I helped at a car was to raise money for a church group going to Romania to build houses. It was fun and at the end we all got free fries to eat.
On Sunday I went with Sara and Albert on a bikeing tour of the area. Really beautiful lanscapes.

More exciteing news: Today as I biked to school it rained a bit. Just a bit though. And I'm getting better at bikeing. That picture of the two bikes was taken by me as I rode behind them.

Patat and krokek.
A very Dutch dinner. and of corse you have appelsauce, mayo, and ketchup on the side. A krokek is a sort of meat paste with a crusty outside and pata is fries.
Today was my first day of school. It went well. Their system is different than the us. I was put with a class and that class is always the same people, they take math and science and everything except a few electives together. And you don't go 8 to 3. Your schedual is weekly insted of daily.
And yesterday was Prince Day. Not really a vacation holiday though.

Orientation Camp

This weekend all the afs kids went to an orientation. It was lots of fun. I travled by train with some of the girls from Thialand. We had a talent show and went dancing. It was great seeing the kids from the US again and meeting everyone else.
Me playing the sterio-typical fat american in a skit we did in the talent show.

The House

The living room

The stairs, they are very steep. All the stairs are small though. Things are just small here.

My Bedroom

I just met two boys also with AFS. From Italy and Argentinia. They are visiting the AFS students here in Friesland. Very nice (and good looking).
