FUN FACT: Did you know scientists think long ago the word O.K. comes from the word "Oll Korrect". Long ago people spelled it like that and shortened it to "O.K." They never changed the spelling. If they did, today we would say "A.C." And we have used it ever sense. The first time it was used was in 1839.
Thank you Wiki Answers, I did not know that.
Found this out as I contemplated the many ways to spell Ok.
Whats your prefrience?

In a US history class we were taught that president Andrew Jackson, known for his poor spelling, wrote OK on approved documents. This was supposed to have popularized the use of OK.
Really? :) is there an official spelling because I always use ok and nothing fancy like okay.
I looked it up in your dictionary. OK is the accepted spelling. O.K. and okay are also OK. It can be used as an adj, adv, interj, noun and verb! She OK'd the plan. OK? OK!
I personally prefer okey dokey.
