I will put up pictures soon... and some more posts.
I really enjoy everones comments and if you have questions I´ll try to answer them as best I can.
Today is just a lazy Sunday that I´m spending at Carolines. I´m usually over here on Sundays.
Afs had a pot luck and I brought brownies baked by Gaya, my hostmom. And I´m on Fall Break from school! Yeah!

I just saw the most picture perfect thing. An old man dressed in blue trousers tucked into rain boots, a gray blazer, vest, and wool cap. He was out in a feild working. Oh, and he had a pipe. To bad I didn't have my camera on me. Though I'm not so sure he would appreciate some girl taking pictures of him...
I'm cooking dinner tonight! Fried potatoes and onions with this chicken thats coverd in corn flakes, sounds weird but is actually really good, and appelsauce. I think it will be excellent.

I really enjoy riding my bike. It's a nice way to start the day and relax.
It takes me 20 minutes to get to school, 25-30 if I'm lazy.
There are two ways to go, the direct or the scenic rout. Today I took the scenic way home. There wasn't anyone around (except cows and sheep) to hear so I belted out all those pesky songs that were stuck in my head and a few more besides.
And I'm developing a taste for danger. You know, biking without a helmet, that sort of thing.

Large windmill.
Did you know that you can turn the top to face the wind. I always wonderd about that.
Who knew?

Westerbork was the camp that Anne Frank and many many others stayed at before being shipped to larger death camps (The Frank family was actually on the last train that left before liberation). They had a special on Anne Frank at the museum.
Caroline, Sarah, and Albert.
At the example Peter Stuyversant was going to use when he built New Amsterdam ( now New York). It is a dirt wall that, back in the day, they put around villages and what-not for protection.
Spent the weekend at Carolines. They took me to Eindhoven, lichtstraat or light city. The home of Philips, a major brand that started with light bulb production.
And to Westerboek.
And Groningen, a large old city.
